My mother is a diabetic. Initially her sugar level was always in control. But recently it went out of control. We were tensed and the doctor chamber became our regular visiting place.  I am a college student and spend a lot of time out of my house. I have my usual friends circle and with them I often eat outside. I had a great love for all kinds of junk food. The things from which one needs to stay away were always my favorite. I never liked to compromise on my food habit. But my health took a hit and there were early signs of diabetes. My parents were extremely worried and they immediately consulted a specialist. I was given a thorough check up and certain medicines were prescribed too. But my doctor advised me to go for regular exercise and also to consult a dietician who would make a proper diet chart for me.
